It’s summer time and it’s now time to bring out all the summer hijabs and outfits. We are always looking for ways to dress cooler during summer. But we also want to be protected from the summer heat. We might want to wear shorter sleeves, but I actually found that wearing long sleeves, as we should, protects you from the burning sun during summer. For more ideas on summer outfits.
Cool Summer Hijab Outfits
During summer we wear different scarves in different styles. During winter we use thicker scarves, like pashminas to keep us warm. Your summer hijab should be made of cotton fabric as it will keep you cool. Silk scarves make you very hot. Wearing light-weight scarves are also a good idea. If your scarf is too thin, you can always wear an under cap and tie the scarf loosely around your neck.
The same applies to clothing worn during summer. Sometimes the clothing might not have sleeves. Rather than wearing a cardigan over your sleeveless top or dress, you can wear a cotton undertop which is much cooler. I have taken this step and it works for me. The cardigan is so hot, since it is made of wool, even though it is of a thinner thread. When you look at the types of pants worn during summer, I would advise buying cotton pants. Wearing fitted pants are not desired to wear during summer, as they will make you even hotter. It is just luck that the harem pants is in fashion and it is in keeping with Islamic modest wear. It is a loose, wide-legged pants and doesn’t reveal any body shape.
Wearing fresh colours like candy-floss and pastels are lovely for summer and will keep you cool. Sometimes wearing dark colours makes you feel hotter than what it actually is. Ever heard of the term, it’s all in your head? Well, wearing black on a hot summer’s day will show you how untrue that saying is.

I spoke earlier about wearing cardigans over a sleeveless top and how hot it makes you, but I completely forgot about wearing shirts over it. This is another way of keeping cool and staying fashionable at the same time.
Dressing up during summer can make you hot, but wearing soft fabrics in bright colours looks beautiful.
