I thought of taking you out of your shell today. I found some super cute styles which I wish I could wear but they wouldn’t suit my face shape. For those of you who have NO IDEA what I’m talking about, let me explain. There are many headscarf styles online, but you can’t wear them all. For example, there are certain styles which will make your face look rounder, shorter, wider, longer etc. If you want to hide parts of your face, there’s headscarf styles which will show you how to do it. If you want to shorten your face, yes, there’s girls who want to do this. Why? They might have a large or long forehead. Also to elongate your face, there’s many style specifically for this too. Therefore I said some of the style below would not suit me, as I have a full, oval-round face shape.
If you have an oval face shape you can wear all these styles below, but for a fuller face, I would advise loose styles and Turkish styles to give your face shape.
Let’s have a look at some fashion forward headscarf styles for 2016 and how to pull it off.
How To Wear Headscarf in Funky Styles
This image shows you 4 ways to wear the headscarf. I love them all. The cherry accessory makes the style look playful and innocent. This is a great look for young girls and creative university students. I wouldn’t wear the turban style and wrap it around my neck, as seen in the image. It would make my face look even chubbier, haha!
Another cute style for young girls. This is great for themed parties and I see it’s a winter look, as she is wearing a candy floss coloured jersey. I love the colour btw.
Many times people will come up to me and just stare at my head. At first I was freaked out and couldn’t understand why they were doing it. Now it’s quite normal. They often look and see how I wrap my scarf before asking me how I did it. Here’s another style which is quite easy to achieve even though it looks so intricate. This is just a pashmina which has loads of colours in it and as you wrap it, you see all the colours and it seems as if you are wearing 3 headscarves.
I hope this was helpful in showing you how to wear a headscarf.
